| Mostly it start with one eye, which as main symptom redness from the blood vessels around the eye, visible if you pull up the upper eyelid. At first is the mucous membrane not red or swollen, this is how glaucome distinguish from conjuctivitis.Beside that the cornea can coloured blue. The pupil is wide open, even when you shine with a flashlight in the eye. The dog has much headache and is listless. Conjuctivitis is a much common inflammation of the mucous membrane of the eye, whereby the mucous membrane around the eye is red and swollen and often pus is coming out of the eye. A secondary glaucome can develop after a trauma from the eye, where an
internal eye inflammation develop. Even through some medications glaucome
can develop.
